Searching for ideas I am often guided by the local and the imperceptible, by the hidden or partly unpleasant. Process is based on the objective world that exists in the present or the past.
I work with such basic themes as knowledge and experience, death and memory through the fixation of everyday, seemingly insignificant moments and objects, through simplification and clues. I am interested in searching how such timeless issues are reflected in completely ordinary things: from children’s photographs to dead birds.
In my practice I use methods of imitation, similarity. I create combine contradictory things studying the ambiguity of existence. Variability is important to me, therefore I work with sculpture, video, photography, painting and apply different materials, but most of the time I am guided by the object.
